About

Hi, I'm Jennifer.

My passion as a psychotherapist lies in creating a space that is compassionate and grounded, where clients feel deeply seen and supported. My journey into social work is personal, and it's shaped my commitment to empathy, cultural sensitivity, and supporting others through trauma and life's harder chapters.

I earned my Master of Social Work from NYU's Silver School of Social Work, concentrating on trauma-focused care and supporting people through periods of uncertainty, growth, and transition. My clinical training centers on young adults and emerging professionals navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, relational dynamics, and major life transitions — and on couples seeking deeper connection, better communication, and healing from relational wounds.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating — it's also a courageous step toward healing. I aim to be a therapist who listens deeply, challenges you thoughtfully, and helps you access the resilience you already carry.

Services

Support built around what you're carrying.

Every session is 50 minutes and shaped to support you in reaching a sense of fulfillment within yourself, your life, and your relationships. I take a non-pathologizing approach so our sessions are focused on you and not the diagnosis label.

Anxiety & Depression

Practical, evidence-based support for persistent worry, low mood, and the exhaustion of feeling stuck — with tools you can actually use between sessions.

Couples & Relationships

A structured space for partners to be heard, rebuild trust, and change the patterns that keep the same argument on repeat.

Trauma-Focused Therapy

Trauma-informed care — including EMDR — for processing difficult past experiences at a pace that feels safe.

General Mental Health

Life transitions, burnout, grief, and the everyday weight that doesn't need a label to deserve attention.

Investment

Private pay, by design.

Working outside insurance means longer sessions when you need them, no diagnosis required for coverage, and complete confidentiality — your records stay between us, not with an insurer.

Session fees are discussed during your free consult, so we can talk through what makes sense for your situation before anything is decided.

A superbill is provided on request for clients who want to seek out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance. Limited sliding-scale spots are also available — just ask.

Approach

How the work actually happens.

A blend of methods, chosen for what you bring into the room — not a one-size template.

attach

Attachment-based, at the core

I work from an attachment lens first — understanding how your patterns of connection formed shapes everything else we do together.

integrate

CBT, EFT, DBT, and psychodynamic insight

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based and Dialectical Behavioral approaches, and psychodynamic insight — matched to what you actually need, not a fixed script.

reconnect

EFT-grounded couples work

Having completed the Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship, I help couples move through conflict and disconnection toward more secure, meaningful bonds — safely and respectfully.
